The 2008 Softball Season is under way. We hope that you have a wonderful and fun season with fellowship, exercise and the love of the sport. Check back to this web site weekly to check out your teams' standings, the other teams' game scores and any other information that this site provides. Make sure to check the "News and Updates" located at the bottom of this page for any updates.

A Quick Overview:
Our league is a Christian Co-ed Slow-pitch Softball League. We are comprised of twelve teams that compete from April to August. We host fourteen weeks of regular season play, which takes place on Tuesday nights, and conclude with an all team double elimination tournament. Our final event of the season is our annual All-Star game played by each team's MVP players. We use the USSSA rule book as an outline, with special changes specific to our league. Our utmost priority is to reach unsaved friends and family with God's love. We strive to provide a comfortable atmosphere that fosters friendship and accountability. Through our good sportsmanship we are able to have fun, while in a competative spirit, in the presence of God.

Congratulations to "Journey Church" for winning the Tournament, "Riverside Assembly of God" for their Second place finish and to "Life Church" for thier Third place finish.

Attention Everyone:
Our tournament (remaining games) on August 9 have been moved to Harlem Community Center off of Forest Hills Road south of 173(map). They have 4 fenced diamonds, bleachers, full bathrooms and concessions.

All of the teams that lost on Tuesday, August 5 will be playing at 8:00 on Saturday.

Just like last year, the seeding for the tournament is as follows:
1^st - Overall Record
2^nd - Head-to-Head matchup
3^rd - Point differential from Head-to-Head matchup
4^th - Coin Toss (if needed)

Attention Everyone:
Due to mother nature, Sportscore is closed for the season. Our tournament (remaining games) are still on August 9, but has been moved to Loves Park diamonds (3 diamonds) just east of N. 2nd Street at the end of Sydney Ave (map). They are working on getting concessions at this location and should be finalized shortly.

Attention Managers:
Rosters will be locked on July 7. No one may be added after this date.
Reminder: Players that you have verbally added to your roster need to sign a "roster sheet" and that sheet needs to be sent to William, league Vice President. If this is not done, that player will NOT play in the tournament. Please get this done as soon as possible so no one is left out of the tournament.

Lighthouse Christian's home field map of South Beloit School has been incorrect. The correct map for the correct school location has been updated.

Lighthouse Christian's home field is NOT River Chapel's field. Please check the teams page for their new home field locations.

The managers sheet and rules have been modified.

This year we also bid farewell to River Chapel.
Filling the vacant spot, we welcome back New Life Bible Church.

Windsor Heights is now named Journey Church.
Family Worship Center is now named The Dwelling Place.

Parkside Nazarene's two teams from last year will merge into one team. Pine Grove Free Methodist's team will be split into two teams. This keeps us with 12 teams participating this year.

The managers meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 8 at 6:15 p.m. We will meet at Riverside Assembly of God (map). Please have someone from your team attend this meeting.
