The tournament bracket is now updated showing the outcome from the Tuesday portion of the tournament. Everyone should try to be there on Saturday at 7:30 so we can go over a few things before we continue the tournament.

Attention Managers:
The new softballs for the Tuesday (7-31) portion of the tournament will be brought to the games by the umpires, so you will not be using any from the regular season.

There is a new tournament bracket that is different than the one that has been on this site the past 2 weeks. The wrong bracket was posted. It has not changed a lot, but there are changes. This also has the first two rounds filled in, but all managers will also get a call on who, when and where you will be playing on Tuesday, July 31. Sorry for any confusion.

The All-Star Game managers this year will be:

All Managers: These are the individuals that you need to get your All-Star selection information to (Name, position and batting position). Please give this info to them on or before the Saturday tournament.

1^st - Overall Record
2^nd - Head-to-Head matchup
3^rd - Point differential from Head-to-Head matchup
4^th - Coin Toss (if needed)
 
Also, our tournament is on diamonds 5,6,7 & 8 which are at the same location but accross the pond.

Attention Everyone:
The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Tuesday, July 31 and the remaining of the tournament will be Saturday, August 4. Tuesday's games will be held at Riverside Assembly, River Chapel, Martin Park & Dahlqiust Park. Your location will depend on how your team is seeded. First round will start at 6:00 with an hour game and the second round will start at 7:10 with an hour game. If you are scheduled for the 6:00 game and you win, you will immediately play the next round. If you lose, your next game will be on Saturday.

Rosters are now locked for the year. No one else can be added.
Reminder: Players that you have verbally added to your roster need to sign a "roster sheet" and that sheet needs to be sent to William, league Vice President. If this is not done, that player will NOT play in the tournament. Please get this done as soon as possible so no one is left out of the tournament.

Just an Update:
Family Worship Center has changed their name to The Dwelling Place. For the remaining of this Season they will still be known as Family Worship Center. Next season the name change will take affect.

Your away games against The Grove Fellowship have been moved to Lion's Park on Hwy 173 in Poplar Grove, located between Rt 76 and Poplar Grove Rd. Directions to the park are...

Turn Right on Summit street (1st street past the firestation)
Park enterance is the 2nd drive on the right.
 
You can see the park from Rt 173. The Northboone fire house is next to the diamonds, and there is a water tower right next to the diamond as well.

Attention Managers:
Just as a reminder, Umpires are paid $20/game. That means $10 per team per game.

Due to scheduling conflicts, your April 17 game will NOT be at Dahlquist Park.
Your game on April 17 will be moved to Vandercook Park.
All remaining home games for Parkside Nazarene (2) will be as squeduled at Dahlquist Park.

Attention: Riverside Assembly of God and First Assembly of God
This Saturday, April 14, your two teams will have a scrimmage at Noon at Riverside Assembly.
Also, anyone from your teams that can make it there earlier, they are working on the ball diamond at 11 am.

First Assembly of God practice schedule:
Thursdays - April 5 & 12 at 6:00 pm
Saterdays - April 7, 14, 21 & 28, May 5, 12 & 19 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm
All practices will be at Riverside Assembly of God.

This year we also bid farewell to Rockford United General Baptist Church & New Life Bible Church.
The three new teams filling the vacant spots are:

Lighthouse Christian Family Church (formally Beloit Free Methodist Church)
Parkside Church of the Nazarene has split to make the 12th team.

The managers meeting will be held on Tuesday, January 9 at 6:00 p.m. We will meet at First Asseembly of God. Please contact William, league Vice President, to find out where inside the church the meeting will be held. Please have someone from your team attend this meeting.
